On the other hand, everybody has to know how the online is in each game, it's the defining point (at-least to me) in a game. battlefield 2 was pretty good in online, not much noob tubing and hardly any lag-switching. modern warfare and black ops...well, let's just say if you played online you know what happens, noob tubing, lag-switching, occasional modder, glitches, and the lag, dear god, was almost enough to make me put my controller through the tv.
What's your guys' opinion?

Personally I'll go for BF3 since it has jets, better quality, different stuff. The COD franchise is always the same no offence.
I have already pre-ordered battlefield 3. I liked cod4 but after that it just seems like the same old slush. Though if you're into that sorta thing then go mw3.
I don't have time to try out either when they come out unfortunately.
I thik you can't compare these games.
Each is good in itself!

that is true, can't really compare them because they are both good. on the other hand they both have their pros and cons to playing them.
I know I'm getting both. Call of Duty's Multiplayer isnt really fun any more, as its repetitive and an arcade shooter. I only play it with friends or for achivements. I play cod for the story. I play battlefield for the epicness. I can get into that multiplayer.
Like most of you guys, I'm definitely getting both! They are both great in their own ways, I think. I agree that COD has become a bit saturated with a lot of noob tubers, little kids and hackers. BC2 was really quite fun for me; I only got it recently (used copy) and I loved it! However, that does not mean I don't like Black Ops either! :)
yeah, i'll most likely get both like everybody else, but you know how it goes, got to get the one you know won't have much of all the bad stuff come about early in the release.
